Flow diagram of the inclusion of study participants from 2015 to 2019. All women were reclassified based on the ISSHP criteria. They were categorized based on the initial findings of preeclampsia (PE) at the first diagnosis into three groups according to the ISSHP categories: Classification 1 (classical criteria), PE diagnosed based on proteinuria; Classification 2, PE diagnosed based on damage to maternal organs; and Classification 3, PE diagnosed based on uteroplacental dysfunction. ISSHP, International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy; PE, preeclampsia.
