Women who are primiparous or multiparous, at any gestational term, of any mode of birth, or experienced either a facility-based or non-facility-based birth

Women who have not brought a viable pregnancy to full term, birth partners who are not fathers, health care professionals

Intervention

Investigating informed choice in maternal health, specifically what influences it and women’s experiences of making decisions about their maternity care

VBAC, Specific focus on maternity service use and access, reproductive choices, infertility treatment, HIV/AIDS in pregnancy, health behaviours in pregnancy, foetal screening, or decision-making about specific risks or complications, VBAC, planned caesarean section, post-natal care and practices, clinical or technical quality of care only, women’s experiences described by others (e.g. health professionals)
