A pelvic MRI was performed on postoperative days 48 (a and b), 92 (c), and 232 (d). a and b, MRI on postoperative day 48 revealed a decrease in the size of the placenta (approximately 12 cm). Gadolinium-enhanced T1-weighted MRI revealed a diffuse lesion with variable enhancement of the placenta. The other slice of the image is shown in b.
