Pre-eclampsia criteria

Blood pressure

 ≥140 mmHg systolic and/or ≥90 mmHg diastolic

Proteinuria

 ≥300 mg/day

 urine protein/creatinine ≥30 mg/mmol

 ≥1+ on dipstick testing

≥2+ on dipstick testing (>1 g/l)

Or in absence of proteinuria

Liver transaminases > 2 × normal

Platelet count

 PLT < 100 E9/l

PLT < 150 E9/l

Renal insufficiency

 Creatinine > 100 μmol/l

Creatinine ≥ 90 μmol/l

Subjective signs of PE

 

Uteroplacental dysfunction
