Effect of NECA and the PKA inhibitor H-89 on CREB phosphorylation in trophoblast cells. Phosphorylation of CREB was analyzed by Western Blot with phospho-CREB antibody and set in relation to total CREB protein after normalization to β-actin levels (A, C). Trophoblast cells were stimulated with an A2B receptor agonist (NECA, 10 μM) or antagonist (MRS 1754, 1 μM) and H-89 inhibitor (10 μM) for 1 h at 2% O2, 8% O2 or 21% O2.
