Self-reported health-related quality of life using the Short Form 36 (SF-36) questionnaire in 65 controls and 62 patients. Four subscales correspond mainly to the Physical Composite Score (PCS): PF = Physical functioning, RP = Role physical, BP = Bodily pain and GH = General health. Four subscales correspond mainly to the Mental Composite Score (MCS): VT = Vitality, SF = Social functioning, RE = Role emotional, MH = Mental health. Subscales GH, VT, and SF also correspond with the PCS. Median values of norm-based scores for the different groups are presented. The Quality metric software employs a linear T-score transformation with mean = 50 and standard deviation = 10, utilizing normative data from the QualityMetric 2009 General Population Sample [17].
